Bringing together musicians, industry representatives and festival audiences from around the globe, the Australasian World Music Expo (AWME) boasts a vibrant program of music showcases and industry forums. This year, the expo is set to traverse the coastal plains of Nigeria, the riverbanks of South Korea, the islands of Aotearoa and the desert sands of Australia. The lineup of artists includes Afro-beat luminary Femi Kuti and his 15 piece band The Positive Force; conscious roots-reggae masters, Groundation; Jamaica’s oldest sound system, Stone Love; New Zealand’s King Kapisi; and Australia’s own rising star, Dan Sultan alongside Katie Noonan and The Captains, The Raah Project, Mista Savona, Diafrix, The Bombay Royale, Mama Kin, Cumbia Cosmonauts, Neil Murray and many more.
